Influenced by the girls favorite iconic hangout spot, a full immersive dining experience based on the sitcom classic has started making its way across the US. This pop-up serves iconic menu items such as Sophia's Famous Lasagna, Blanche's Georgia Style Cookies and of course cheesecake.
Project Objectives
The Challenge
For this project, Barilla wanted Kaleidoscope to create a limited run design for their newest innovation of heart shaped pasta. In doing so, I needed to explore a wide range of ideas for how the concept of love could be conveyed across design while also holding true to current Barilla brand standards.
The Solution
During this multi round, month long project, I partnered up with the internal Junior Industrial Designer to explore ways other than design in which we could make this packaging more special and complimentary to its current implemented design structure. After a few illustrative rounds and concept renders, Barilla’s global team moved forward with bursting hearts.
