Influenced by the girls favorite iconic hangout spot, a full immersive dining experience based on the sitcom classic has started making its way across the US. This pop-up serves iconic menu items such as Sophia's Famous Lasagna, Blanche's Georgia Style Cookies and of course cheesecake.

Project Objectives

The Challenge

For this project, the client needed a clear unifying brand identity that could be carried out through and through consistently from both platform to application. With The Golden Girls branded artwork and color pallette acquired from Disney as the starting point, design for a brand identity unique to its kind, unlike anything Disney has previously done with the franchise , were explored.

The Solution

With a fusion of both Art Deco and Mid Century design carried throughout the architecture of the city of Miami as inspiration, the setting for the iconic sitcom, a wide range of applications were executed and delivered. Both the GGK and Shady Pines logos embodied that look and feel. All deliverables branched off the aesthetic of this fusion of elements.
